Karen and Tuna
Karen and Tuna met through their shared passion for ballroom dancing. Tuna started teaching ballroom while at college, which connected him with opportunities to help people choreograph their first-dance. Karen's background in ballet and figure-skating helps her find the natural and effortless flow in choreographies. They have choreographed a range of styles including Waltz, Quickstep, Jive and Rumba. They would be excited to work with you!
FAQ
We’ve never danced before. Is this for us?
Yes. We start with simple foundations and build a dance that’s comfortable and repeatable. Many couples begin at “two left feet” level.
How many lessons do couples usually need?
It depends on the style and complexity. Many couples feel great in 2–6 lessons. We’ll recommend a plan after a short consult.
Do you offer virtual lessons?
Yes. Virtual lessons work wonderfully for choreography, timing, and confidence—especially when you have limited in‑person options.
